Riverbrook women look forward to participating in the Special Olympics track and field events at Monument Mountain Regional High School every May. They value the opportunity to cheer each other on as much as the chance to compete, and although the weather was a little gray at this year’s event, Team Riverbrook didn’t let it dull their shine!
This year was especially remarkable for Tanny, who participated in her first ever Special Olympics and won three medals. Her teammates are her biggest fans and supporters, and everyone was impressed with the medals — and with the courage it takes to try something new.
Hooray for Riverbrook!
